下面我們首先看一下有道和谷歌的譯文，從語法上看，只有兩處與原文不同，一處是decline in，而FOX的原文用了decline of。其實，decline in也是常用的，應該不算錯，請看同樣來自FOX的一段：

此外，機譯的用詞與原文不一樣，但也算正確，比如原文"fueled"分別被“added to”和“exacerbated”，只不過“fueled”更形象。
總評，從語法來說，有道只錯了一個系動詞，谷歌句子末尾有錯，都沒有全對，但已經相當不錯了。看來，人機協作時代，只有高水平的譯者才能生存下去。
