大清銅幣又名清代機制銅圓，鑄造時間始於1900年(清朝光緒二十六年)，止於1911年(宣統三年)。1906年，清政府下令停鑄“光緒元寶”，改鑄“大清銅幣”，並頒佈統一的祖模，命各地仿鑄。大清銅幣流通時間儘管只有十餘年，但其鼎盛時期全國共有十七省二十局開機鑄造銅圓。如以細微區別劃分，其版式在千種以上。因此當代銅圓收藏愛好者以收集到十大名譽錢幣之“大清銅幣”為最大樂事。“大清銅幣”的設計鑄造在那個年代巧妙借鑑了當時“流行元素”，新增到銅幣內部，起到完美的鑲嵌作用，這些外在因素的附加，為“大清銅幣”極高的收藏價值打下了堅實的基礎。“大清銅幣”鼎盛時共有十九個省局鑄造。除中央戶部鑄造者外，地方各省皆有所鑄銅圓。此枚戶部大清銅幣當制錢十文(川字)，錢幣正面中心直讀“大清銅幣”四字，上緣滿文大清銅幣和干支紀年，底緣為“當制錢十文”。背面中間為蟠龍紋，頂部為“光緒年造”四字，底部環英文。錢幣兩面經過歲月的洗禮後，紋路依然清晰可見。如用手去觸控，可以感受到清涼的表面凹凸有致的龍紋與鑄字，質感相當好，具有極高的歷史價值與收藏價值。
