The place was indeed buzzing with activity, thanks to a scaled-down carnival mummy had learned about in one of her WeChat groups and whereupon had taken you to. Mummy swapped QR codes scanning for some lovely giveaways for you: a round balloon, a camera-shaped bubble mixer and a monkey head balloon that had not been blown up. You were so into the stage that when the emcee was announcing that there would be a raffle, you stepped onto the stage - it took guts to do that.
